PEARL JAM No Code (Epic EPC 484448 1) RARE Europe 1st Pressing + Inserts MINT!
RARE original European first pressing of Pearl Jam`s seminal album, "No Code" on Epic Records (August 1996). Multi-folded gatefold picture sleeve. Printed inner sleeve. Includes nine photo prints (10" polaroid-like) with lyrics on the back, all housed in a printed sleeve.
"But in its own brash, off-center way, No Code is a real gas — charged with pungent declaration and heaving guitars; warm and even a little wry in low throttle; and elastic in its attack and intimate in its tension. It is the kind of impulsive, quixotic, provocative ruckus that has become rare in a modern-rock mainstream largely distinguished by weary fatalism and anxiety over quick career burnout. As a record, as a declaration of honor, No Code basically means no rule books, no limits and, above all, no fear." - David Fricke/Rolling Stone, September 1996.
GRADING:
MINT(-) COVER, practically perfect. Please see photos for details.
- Original unlaminated multifold sleeve in perfect condition.
- Transparent "Pearl Jam No Code" sticker on front cover.
- Includes original custom-printed cardboard inner sleeve in MINT(-) condition.
- Also comes with nine photo-prints, all MINT(-) except for the top polaroid card, which has a few tiny humidity spots, as shown in the photo.

MINT(-) RECORD, bought all those years ago and played perhaps once or twice. Near-perfect.
- Play-graded MINT- with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- The record has very slightest background crackle in opener "Sometimes", as well as quiet passages of "Present Tense".
- Upon close inspection during playback, the record has a very slight warp. This is due to the packaging and found on (nearly) all vinyl copies of "No Code".
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "01 484448 20 1A1" and "01 484448 20 1B1".
- This copy of "No Code" is an original first (and only) European, probably German vinyl pressing, released in August 1996.

eBay`s maximum shipping cost for the US is predetermined at $4. Obviously, the pricing system  does not foresee foreign sellers listing in the US. However, we cannot possibly ship a record from  Europe at this price. By purchasing, the buyer agrees with the mailing costs as outlined above.
