Joy Division - An Ideal For Living - 12" EP - ANON1 (Original)

Extremely rare ORIGINAL 1978 UK 12” release on Anonymous Records.  Only 1200 copies were pressed.  This is the real thing and it's in beautiful condition. 

This auction has been purposely timed in the month of May to honor Ian Curtis's memory (36th Anniversary of his death). 

I am not a professional record seller, so I am going to refrain from using the standard grading terminology and just describe what I see/hear.  This item, as well as the other Joy Division items I currently have listed, are from the collection of a hardcore audiophile and Joy Division collector who passed away in 2002.  Prior to this auction, these records had not been touched or played in 14+ years.

Condition

Cover:  See photos for the condition of the cover.  Note there is minor wear on the front right where the cover opens and a small dent on the spine. The inner sleeve is generic white paper and one side has a slight cut where the vinyl has sliced through the sleeve.

Vinyl:  Visually, there are very minor surface marks, which I assume are paper scuffs.  On playback, I couldn't detect any noise at all when the music was playing and only minor clicks in the silent parts.  No warp and no skips.

Both sides were tested on the following stereo equipment:

• Pioneer A-91D amplifier

• Rega Planar 2 turntable with Grado cartridge and stylus

• Definitive Technology BP-8 speakers.
