UNIQUE package that includes B&W promo photo by Jill Furmanovsky and original Virgin GO2 press release in same white-on-black typewriter style as album artwork, insert and free 12" single that came with first pressings.
Glossy 10x8in mono photo slightly yellowed with age but in otherwise very good+/excellent condition. Glossy A4 press release has also been stored flat since original use and shows minimal signs of wear and tear (it's plain black on one side, with typewriter-style text on the other).
Black and white semi-matt album cover in very good+ condition with shelf wear on bottom edge and a little on the spine. No marks/damage on main surfaces and spine is still nice and square, with band name and album title etc clearly legible.
Four page album-sized fold-out insert also in very good+ or excellent condition. Band photo dominates centre spread and you can marry up text overlay on bottom lefthand corner with text on reverse side of outer cover.
Plain white inner sleeve - hand printed in red with "This is an inner sleeve or bag of an album by XTC called GO 2 with a catalogue number of V2108" - in very good+ condition.
Album in very good+ or excellent condition with minimal marks. Vinyl retains much of its original sheen and paper labels - green on one side and red on the other - are perfect.
Track listing: Mechanic Dancing, Battery Brides, Buzzcity Talking, Crowded Room, The Rhythm, Red, Beatown, Life Is Good In The Greenhouse, Jumping In Gomorrah, My Weapon, Super-Tuff, I Am The Audience.
Matching black and white 12" single outer sleeve in very good+ or excellent condition with a little shelf wear but no other obvious signs of age or damage. Plain paper inner sleeve also in great condition while vinyl looks virtually unplayed on both sides.
Go+ side one track listing: Dance With Me, Germany and Beat The Bible. Side two: A Dictionary of Modern Marriage, Clap Clap Clap, We Kill The Beast. Catalogue no VS 23312.
