Animals -Pink Floyd/ SHVL 815.           Rare early pressing A-2 U7/B-3 U1.      This rare A2/B3 pressing is in wonderful condition .The A2/B2 first pressings were manufactured in relatively low numbers and as the A2/B3 matrix numbers were produced at the same time they are generally concise red to be first pressings also.                                       Vinyl Grading.                                         Under a strong light I can detect a few very faint hairlines but I am sure these are caused by the record being removed and returned to its sleeve.There are no scratches and the vinyl is extremely clean.Hard to believe it is almost 40 years old.          Play Grading.                                           There is almost no lead in static to "Pigs on the Wing (Part 1) and then plays with audio that is so sharp and clear it belies its age.The audio on "Dogs" plays to a fantastic standard with only the merest hint of static here and there.The clarity is stunning and plays with no jumps or clicks.Again side two starts with hardly any lead in static so you know you are onto a winner again.""Pigs (Three Different Ones)" plays to a very high standard.The audio has a real depth and richness.The very quiet intro to"Sheep" plays very cleanly with excellent depth of sound and not even a click or static."Pigs ( On the Wing Part 2)" ends the album with stunning clarity with no background noise.A fantastic ending.                      Gatefold Cover.                                       The original G&L cover is in overall superb condition with extremely light she'll wear and no ring wear at all.Very minor rubbing to top two corners and a small amount of wear on the top edge of reverse side.The remaining edges and the wide spine,which is completely readable, are in superlative condition and the opening edges have hardly been handled at all.The inside of the gatefold is like brand new.It has no bar code as per first pressings and has been sealed with a fold under .In the lower right corner "Made and Printed in Great Britain 7701TM Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd".                       Lyric Sleeve.                                             The cardboard lyric inner has the round corners as the first pressing and the is very clear with only two very light creases ion the bottom right hand corner.It has a split on the left hand side seven centimetres long.On the bottom right hand corner it says -SHVL 815(I).                 Labels.                                                     Both labels are in perfect condition.No marks of any kind and no writing.I cannot detect any spindle wear.All in all a record which has had very little usage.                        Side 1-NM /Side 2-Ex++.                         Gatefold -Ex ++.                                        Lyric Inner-Ex++.                                     Label-Mint.                                                 Pink Floyd-Animals.                                 SHVL 815/A-2U7/B-3U1
