1963 Very Early Pressing of this historic LP. It has quite a lot of surface marks on the record, has been professionally cleaned and plays EX with a few clicks and crackles but this does not spoil the playing of this record and the production on the original is superb. This books at £120 if mint. Some people ask a lot more!! Believed to be a 4th Pressing as the front cover photo is Angus McBean and the A of Angus starts under the last S of the word songs. (Look up in R.C. Price Guide). Everyone states theirs are 1st pressings but are very much mistaken! Even with this one with a 1N stamper matrix number! The black and gold coloured labels appear to be first pressings, though they were being pressed at the same time. Complicated or what? I have test played a few tracks with a great system and it honestly plays superbly. There may be the very odd crackle or click, but not many! Please see pictures for track listing and label numbers. I have just started listing seriously so please be patient, but add me as a favourite seller. I shall have all genres of music from the 50s to present day and include memorabilia, records, singles, 78s and LPs, many rare ones. I have collected since the 60s and have now decided to sell all my collection. I shall be as honest as I can with grading's, but most will be visually graded as I do not have the time to check each one. If they are a little dirty, they will be professionally cleaned. Unfortunately the cleaning does not eradicate scratches and I will try not to sell scratched records knowingly. If there are defects, I will list them if I see them. However, you can get a record sometimes that actually looks fairly scuffed/marked, but when played they play almost perfect, particularly from the 50s and 60s.Also, you may think a record looks perfect but in a different light they can show light surface marks which are not always detectable under electric lights. In addition, the older records from 60s and 70s, the spine glue sometimes becomes unstuck but this is not damage, though I will try to mention in advert if this is so. Pictures featured are of actual item being sold. If there are any problems with any item bought from me then please contact me first to sort out any problems.
