Very rare Peter Singh 7" vinyl single entitled "Bhingi Bajee Boogie" with "Pick Your Turban" on the B Side.
Peter Singh was the first (and only?) Sikh Elvis Presley impersonator, and he also ran a takeaway in Swansea - what a guy! This 7" single has been signed by Peter on the label, and on the flip is a picture of him in an Elvis pose with a guitar. The record is housed in a plain sleeve. Catalogue number is SRT 90S 2623, from 1990. Please note, the first pic is just for illustrative purposes and is not part of the auction. The other two pictures show the 7".
The record looks hardly played but it has storage wear, dust, and a few minor marks. When play tested prior to auction, it played well, with good sound quality for age and format. This was found in an extensive collection that had been stored for more than a decade.
