Here is an ultra rare copy that is in excellent condition! There are only very minor and slight blemishes. This is an honest description and opinion of a veteran vinyl collector. I would be thrilled to have this particular copy in my forever collection if I were the epic Metallica fan.

It is 33 years old and I have not seen others before this one. I have only found one listing on eBay that sold and none other than this one copy. Usually DJs and radio hosts would not be too concerned about the treatment of free records to plug a newer band. When ride the lightning became aggressively successful these were scarce and even more so in excellent Condition.

This is in the original Elektra Records jacket. Please see pictures for jacket condition, it is not mint by far but is in good overall condition and has certainly served is purpose in service of the LP. The record is housed in a plain white sleeve and collectively placed in a clear poly protective sleeve.

The white label is pristine condition free of any spots, stains, discoloration, smears or peeling.

The Vinyl is in excellent condition and looks as if it has been played only a few times. Possibly handled more than played? There is a very small and slight scuff on side B close to the Deadwax area on the grooves. Once again, I see no serious issues.

I never guarantee a record to not skip. Even if it would not skip on my player, all players are different and it may on yours - or vice -versa.

Inspected under bright light to the best of my abilities and with honest opinion. If I were the Metallica fan ( which I am) that would want this in a forever collection I would be in awe of the rarity, condition and one time availability in this listing. I am a huge Kiss fan so I can let this one go to the right home.
