I do grade them very carefully under bright light I have the rare record collectors guide.
GRADING SYSTEM: MINT: The record itself is in new condition and should be sealed NEAR MINT: The record itself is in new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Slight spindle ware possible sleeve marks The cover and extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster might have slight wear and/ or creasing VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. The cover and extras have normal wear and tear no splits GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of the edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
I don't like selling any record that jumps or skips. I don't play all records all the way through so if you ever get one that does this please don't hesitate to contact me to sort it out.
