organised during the Art Basel in Miami. Madonna’s show, and
accompanying dinner and art auction, benefited her nonprofit
organization Raising Malawi. Proceeds supported the organization’s
latest project, The Mercy James Pediatric Surgery Hospital in Malawi, as
well as art and education initiatives for impoverished children in the
southeastern African nation. Talk show host James Corden moderated the
gala, which also featured appearances by Ariana Grande, Chris Rock and
Sean Penn.
