This is an original sealed JIMI HENDRIX 'Band of Gypsys' gatefold LP, Capitol STAO-472.
Finding original sealed Hendrix albums is very difficult, and this one is in perfect condition. As far as the pressing goes, I researched and found out that this album was certified gold on June 3rd 1970, less than 2 months after it's release. Although technically it could be a 1st press, it's most likely a red label from the early to mid 70's. Regardless, it is a perfect specimen, super solid all around (1" shrink separation at left top edge) and as nice as you will find of this album, NM- condition. Has 2 breather holes on front. What a find!!
