This record is an example of what's commonly called an acetate record, though the correct term is lacquer disc, since it's a custom-cut recording on a lacquer surface.  Lacquers (or again "acetates") are individually cut, and distributed in extremely small quantities for internal label business or advance publicity purposes and pre-date the master-cut that commercial records are pressed from.  So this is your opportunity to own an exceptionally rare copy of a classic Northern Soul recording.
