THE BEST OF TWIST-A-RAMA U.S.A. (1965, Longmark Productions)

Condition of Cover: VG, some EW, some SW, two small paper scuffs in upper right front corner area, some discoloration along lower back side edge, some faint pencil writing and pencil indenting on front and back, some has been erased, some CW to lower left corner.

Condition of Record: VERY lo-fi pressing, all pressings has some background noise and hiss like they all do (I've had a few copies, THEY ALL DO). Name written teeny tiny in pen on one side of record label. Visual VG-, playgraded in its entirety.

Second Time Around (some isolated tics), The Brick, Sometimes, I Want You, All I Want To Do, Jaguar Jazz, Where Have You Gone To,  I Won't Shed Tears Over You (my favorite track), Nothing About Life At All (has a small pressing bump in the track with a few blips around the song) played through ok. Yabadabado had 3 quick forward skips near the beginning and 2  at the end, See That Girl had 1 quick forward skip near beginning, Crazy Woman had 1 quick forward skip. Too Much had 2 quick forward skips near the beginning. One Last Time had a repeater skip near the end of the track. This is how it played on my Gemini turntable using a Grado cartridge.

This record is impossible to find in any shape, and the low quality of vinyl used to press it makes it doubly rare, let alone a lot of these were thrown in a landfill.

Additional Information: Original. White colored label.

Comments: The Best of Twist-A-Rama U.S.A. showcases local garage bands from the Mohawk Valley area in Utica, NY. Produced by Hank Brown, this LP is based on the show "Twistarama" which spotlighted local bands in the Utica, NY area in a manner similar to a local music scene "American Bandstand." This record is VERYYYYYYYYYYYYY RARE sought after by 60's Garage Rock collectors. The fact that the LP was only available in local shops for a short period makes it more of a RARITY. DOES NOT POP UP PERIOD! ! Have any questions, please ask.  Please check out my HUGE rare psych/prog/garage/folk/private LP auctions!

ALL RECORDS ARE PACKED PROFESSIONALLY IN RECORD MAILERS WITH RECORD OUTSIDE OF THE JACKET. I HAVE BEEN DEALING IN RECORDS FOR 15 YEARS, BID WITH CONFIDENCE! Check out my other auctions!

Grading Scale: My grading scale is as follows:

SEALED, M-, NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, G+. I do not sell anything lower than G+. My records are visually and play graded to check for accuracy. My VG+ should have little to no surface noise according to my turntable using a Grado cartridge, and my EX gradings are equivalent to Goldmine's VG++ grading, just more descriptive within the grading spectrum of VG++. My M- is open unplayed. My NM and NM- gradings are reserved for items opened once and played. Therefore, records that are often others' NM-, I will default to EX+ (this and high end VG++ records populate the EX+ grading).  I generally default to VG on covers if the cover has any noticeable ringwear, surface wear, or seam splits. Please see abbreviation list. If you have any questions, please email me! NO REISSUES UNLESS STATED AS SUCH!!

Payment Methods: Paypal, payment on pickup.  For further info, please refer to my "About Me" page.
