Side A is a remake of Farrakhan's calypso song A White Man’s Heaven Is A Black Man’s Hell which was originally released in 1960 under the name Louis X. The remaining tracks are from a speech.QUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY campaign in 1965.  JAY & THE AMERICANS were one of three groups that released this single, the other two being THE SUPREMES and THE BLOSSOMS.  The backing track, produced by Phil Spector, is: "Things Are Changing."  The track is based on a song written by BRIAN WILSON entitled "Don't Hurt My Little Sister" which was recorded by the Beach Boys for the "Beach Boys Today!" LP.  Story goes that Brian wrote the song for The Ronettes, and brought it to Spector. Brian played piano on the session, though whether or not he ended up on the released track is unclear. Spector shelved the "Don't Hurt My Little Sister" backing track, but used it for this EEO campaign release with new lyrics.
