Re: MAKE OFFER - READ IT BEFORE MAKING OFFERS
Depending on the rarity and condition of individual items I’m prepared to consider reasonable price reductions. I consider 10% reasonable. Greater reductions only make sense for items with imperfections or other undesirable attributes, are in over supply etc.
Please keep in mind that sellers also pay 10% to Ebay and 3.5 % to PayPal. The money for these fees has to come from somewhere, as well as packing and the additional 10% tax on delivery cost by Ebay. MAKE OFFER options are added/cancelled in bulk, hence some items might contain it, for which a lower than 10% counter offer will be made. Thank you for your understanding.I bought several records online, which I had hoped to enjoy. I soon realized that many record sellers fail totally in their description.
It's only human to make mistakes but what excuse is there for not listing tracks/artists and truthfully describe physical marks on vinyl surfaces?
None ! If a record does not look totally new, listening and often playing both sides entirely is essential.
Play grading and making accurate descriptions take (a lot of) time. This time is reflected in my prices. It's good money well spent because there is nothing worse than opening an eagerly awaited package and as soon as you see the vinyl you know there will be ticks and pops and crackly noise on all quiet parts, yet the seller had written ex or even ex+ in the description.
