Sale provides a unique and exceedingly rare opportunity, for beginners and established collectors of rare vinyl alike, to acquire unplayed copies of 4 different records by Cream. Released in 1966 and 1967 on the Reaction label and in 1968 on Polydor, these near mint vinyl records in their original Reaction and Polydor bags and sleeve, were acquired by the seller whilst working for the record company; in London during the late 1970's. Forming part disposal of the Company record library and as unplayed file copies, these records were never played and have never been played since acquisition by the seller. With the exception of the B Side of Anyone For Tennis (Pressed Rat And Warthog) showing minimal storage marks and minor scratching, visually, the playing surfaces of the records are unblemished, as anyone wishing to finally play these rare records would soon discover. Having been stored for many years, together with other rare records currently for sale on ebay and now forming part disposal of my own vast library of original 7" and 12" singles, EP's and albums, accumulated over many years, this is a reluctant sale of truly treasured possessions and a one-off opportunity to acquire these must-have additions to any seriously advanced vinyl record collection. Sale provides a golden opportunity for any fans of Cream or Eric Clapton; or indeed, anyone wishing to acquire original Rock memorabilia, or just generally interested in the music of the 1960's. The starting price for this auction reflects the rare condition of the discs and their original Polydor and Reaction bags and sleeve, which other than minimal handling wear to the bags, storage marks and minor scratching to the B Side of Anyone For Tennis and slight separation to the top of the Disraeli Gears outer sleeve, clearly shown in the photographs supporting the sale, are in terrific condition. So don't delay, start bidding, as I am confident that these incredibly rare and highly collectable records will not last very long.
