This one is the first mono pressing of 'KENNY DREW TRIO' by Kenny Drew. With Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones. Riverside Records RLP 12-224. One of my favorite. I think this album is the most expensive of Riverside on the collectible market. Very Very Rare
This is an original issue from Riverside Records, issued in 1956, not a reissue version. Flat Edge Disc. White Labels and Deep Groove on both labels. Very hard to find.
Artists: Kenny Drew (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), Philly Joe Jones (drums).
The vinyl has many hairlines on Side 1 with two feelabel scratches and scuff that produce tics but not too long and never overpowering musics (please see photos). Play through with no jump or stuck. Music is nice. I rated it as VG.
Side 2 has no issue and plays VG++
The cover is rated VG. Wares, here and there. Still strong not fray. No split.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
