Dear collector, since a picture, more often than not, tells a 1,000 words as they say, I will allow the photos of my personal Beatles memorabilia, vintage collector’s piece, otherwise known as…”THE BEATLES, the Collection,” limited edition #2719, with all of its bells and whistles that it originally came with, 38 years ago, when it was first released in 1982, in the USA, speak for itself.
As clearly noted, many of the competitively priced and similar pieces, are numbered way above mine. So while the box is not in the greatest condition compared to other listings, my set is one of the rarest and earliest manufactured/pressed sets that you'll find available for sale.
This unique and rare collection of (14) black vinyl LP’s in their original sleeves, have NEVER been played and are in mint condition. All components are in great condition (less some fingerprints here and there on the covers and booklet) including the records, sleeves, covers, booklet and Geo-Disk. The box however has a fair bit of wear shown on it including peeling, cracking, scratches and dents as well as the hinges are tarnished. All of which can been seen from the hi-res photos. This collection was originally stored in a storage unit and the last 15 years has been stored in my air conditioned home, unmoved until creating this eBay listing in order to take the photos.

The hand-numbered and signed Certificate of Authenticity, included in the booklet provided with the collection, guarantees that your BEATLES/ the COLLECTION library is a very rare and limited edition set, with a rather low limited edition number, as noted above. Its value as a piece of musical and high fidelity history, will insure its increasing value over time, as a collector’s item, that will continue to appreciate in the years ahead.
Between the re-birth and demand for high quality vinyl records, once again surging around the world, coupled with the mere fact that only two of the Fab Four Beatles’ members are still alive (as of this listing), once they’ve passed on, since nothing lasts forever, this collection will increase exponentially over time.
I purchased this collection in 1982 and have now chosen to part with it, which will be very hard for me to do, but 38 years to have held on to this piece of music history has been long enough for me. It’s time to pass it along to someone else who I hope will care for and cherish this collection for another 38 plus years. The question is, who will be that lucky one? AMEN!
