Artist : Joshua White
Title : Southern Exposure, Uncle Sam Says, Jim Crow Train, Bad Housing Blues, Hard Times Blues, Defense Factory Blues
Label & Number : Keynote 107
Record Grade : All sides are (E to almost E+). Some sides have more light scuffs than others, but it has managed to retain high gloss and without many defects at all. Very tough to find these sets in this condition.
Album condition : It has an average amount of wear of the edges and sides, the binding is still intact. Still has beautiful color on the front cover. Has a small non-intrusive store sticker on the top right of the first page in the album.
Comments : This album was released in 1941 and was highly controversial in the South. It eventually came to the attention of President Roosevelt, who enjoyed the music and invited White to perform at the White House. White became a close friend of the president and his family, which was virtually unheard of during those times!
GRADING SCALE : (N- / E+ / E / E- / V+ / V / V- / G+ / G / G- / F / P)
