Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.

This one is the first mono and deep-grooved pressing of Prestige Records LP-7029 "SONNY ROLLINS WITH THE MODERN JAZZ QUARTET".  The one is an original issue from Prestige Records, not a reissue version by OJC or Classic Records.  Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in 1951 and 1953, with "RVG" etched on the dead wax of both sides.  Deep Groove on both labels.  Labels address: PRESTIGE RECORDS INC., 446 W. 50th., ST., N.Y.C.  Very rare in NM condition.

Artists Include Sonny Rollins (tenor saxophone), Miles Davis (he played piano on "I Know"), John Lewis and Kenny Drew (piano), Milk Jackson (Vibes), Percy Heath (bass), Kenny Clark and Roy Haynes and Art Blakey (drums).

The vinyl played NM on both sides. Music is nice.

The cover is NM-.  Strong and no split. No fading but small yellows on the back (please see picture).

The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.

My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.

You will be satisfied.  And I will accept a free return.  Please bid with confidence.
