Beatles for Sale - New Zealand original mono pressing with label errors!
This is an original 1964 mono pressing with 2 glaring spelling errors.
Side 1 has the songwriters for Kansas City misspelt as Lieber-Stoller [it should be Leiber-Stoller]
Side 2 has the song Eight Days a Week written as Eight Day a Week
I'm convinced this is a genuine small first pressing and when the 2 errors were discovered , the labels were quickly corrected and a further larger pressing flooded the market. As NZ did not have a huge population in 1964 (approx. 2.6 million) , then the pressing quantity would not have been large. In all my years of collecting I have only seen a very small number of these labels.
Now this label is quite rare and sought after by completest collectors worldwide.
All photos are of the LP you will receive.
