Description 

New York’s melting pot of Puerto Rican, Cuban and Afro-American musicians led to stunning culture clashes in the 1960s and 70s when Latin styles mixed with Funk, Disco, Soul and Jazz to produce new hybrids such as Boogaloo, Latin Jazz, Disco and Salsa. All these are featured in Soul Jazz Records latest journey into Latin music, New York Latin Hustle. Superb album.

Item condition

Condition of vinyl is EXCELLENT. Hardly any traces of use with only minor hairline surface scratches. Quality wax.

Condition of original album sleeve is EXCELLENT

Does have some edge ware/light creases from shelf storage, and 2 inch tear on top spine

Record grading guide

Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.

Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.

Excellent (E) – Very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or some small signs of use generally. Has been played.

Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.

Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.
