Vinyl: NM- Play Graded. Plays like New! The Caveat to the grading of this record is: As with virtually all Vintage Picture Discs, you have to cue the needle about 5-10 seconds in because of the manufacturing imperfections of picture Discs from this era. And although this Picture Disc is a high gloss record with no visible or audible scratches , there's scattered surface noise and pops from the imperfections inherent in the manufacturing and transferring process of Picture Discs. Super high gloss, thick vinyl. Light superficial paper scuffs visible under bright light but have no impact on the visual and sound quality. This is the SUPER RARE Original 1972 1ST Pressing! JL517. Historically significant as this represents some key live performances from John Lennon's early days living in New York, and roughly covers the time between "Imagine" and "Sometime In New York City". See photo closeup of side 2 for song list. Mostly John and a couple from Yoko (including Yoko doing a blues...um, surreal!!). Spirited performances from John solo and with the Elephants Memory Band! Taken from the Dick Cavett, David Frost and Mike Douglas TV shows.
In the Dead Wax: Side 1: 4B Side 2: 4A
Cover: EX+ (see photos; a few creases) Nice high gloss on the fold-over die-cut cover. This Original fold-over cover has only the spine, created by the fold-over. This is so that the picture disc could be revealed in all its glory when on the shelf at the record store. The spine is solid and clean, essentially flawless. No writing, tape, stickers, etc.

Goldmine Standards. I play grade every record that I sell on eBay as I have found you can't rate an LP accurately by just visually inspecting an album. I wipe the dust off of every cover with clean, unscented baby wipes. I professionally clean the vinyl.
