JOY DIVISION original STILL vinyl pressing FACT40

ORIGINAL VINYL FROM MY OWN COLLECTION - PURCHASED AT TIME OF RELEASE [OCTOBER 1981]

This is the original LIMITED EDITION release in clothbound hardback 'HESSIAN' cover with it's ORIGINAL white ribbon. The inner sleeves are the ORIGINAL die-cut cardboard and the labels are grey on white. Condition is best detailed in the photographs but it's worth noting that there are some brown foxing marks on the labels and a few specks here and there on the inside of the hessian sleeve. There is one corner of light folding and stain damage to the inner sleeve (see photos) but nothing major. The ribbon is grubby but ORIGINAL and intact. This is a highly sought after record and it's rare to find one in perfect condition so that needs to be taken into account - this would most definitely be regarded as a very good overall copy. As regards to the CONDITION OF THE VINYL I finally had a chance to listen to it again last week on a borrowed turntable and it plays PERFECTLY : no jumps or skips and just the regular background noise of crackles that came with vinyl which you either love or hate - I believe that you can now get vinyl professionally cleaned to reduce this but personally I switched to CD in the mid 1990s :-)
