You are bidding on Reevaluations: The Impulse Years by Albert Ayler. Released by Impulse! (AS-9257-2), this is a terrific compilation of Ayler's work in a double LP release. The album retains tremendous luster and appears to be well cared. It doesn't have any scratches but there is what I have come to learn is "off-gassing" on the albums (what looks like faint water stains), which is a chemical reaction between sleeve and album with records that are stacked. It doesn't affect the way they play but because of this I am putting it at VG+ instead of EX.
Grading - To avoid confusion on how I grade albums NM - Appears unplayed and bears no marks or scratches (used only when it looks unplayed) - Rarely Used EX - May have one or two visible imperfections (faint scratches or other superficial marks) that won't affect playing VG+ - A few visible imperfections (faint scratches or other superficial marks) that won't affect playing VG - Same imperfections found on VG, but in greater number. Nothing deep enough to be felt with fingernail G - Decent Luster and a number of imperfections including a scratch that can be felt with fingernail
I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box). I'm also open to local pick-up at my home in Fairhaven.
I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job. I'm happy to answer all questions but please be aware that these questions are normally answered after I have returned home from work. I encourage you to look at my other auctions for a wide variety of items. I often sell glass, pottery, books, art, and other unusual items one may find at yard sales and estate sales. Best of luck in your bidding and thanks for your time looking at my auction.
