Very Rare find of The Beatles Strawberry Fields / Penny Lane 45rpm UK first press with Picture Sleeve issued in 1967 in VG+ condition. What makes this a rare find is it still has the Landau's of Sutton store sticker on the record and has the original Landau's of Sutton papaer bag from the store the record was purchased at.
I play grade any of my records that I have for sale. I played this one on my ONKYO system and the sound was absolutely beautiful. Side one Strawberry Fields plays through without any background noise. Side 2 Penny Lane played all the way through beautiful until it gets to the end of the song then it had just a few clicks in it. But still a wonderful playback.
Both sides have very minor sleeve marks.
Strawberry Fields side has no major scratches. Penny Lane has the very small scratch that causes the few clicks.

Side one Matrix numbers are 7XCE 18415-1 Stampers 9 o'clock 1 / 3 o'clock RO side two Matrix numbers are 7XCE 148416 -1 / Stampers 9 o'clock 5 3 o'clock GDG. Record has the KT tax stamp with the Sold in the UK text on it.

Original Picture Sleeve is in VG+ condition. There are no rips or tears in the sides or the bottom except for one small tear on the right side of the sleeve towards the bottom that has been repaired.

The Original Landau's of Sutton bag is in excellent condition. Their are no rips or tears in the bag. It still has the red tape on the top of the bag where it was sealed before the record left the store. Like I say this is very rare to find these still together if any even exist. As we all know the record was always removed from the bag and then the bag was usually thrown away in the trash and then it was time to listen to the record we just purchased from our favorite record store.
So don't let this piece of Beatles History from 1967 pass you by. I'd just about bet you will never find another as this is the first one I've seen.
