You are bidding on Prince and the Revolution’s "Purple Rain" on a vinyl LP from 1984. (I know it was purchased when it arrived in the stores, because I bought this one you are bidding on). I have posted pictures so you can see the quality of the album you are bidding. I also provide some observational notes, to highlight different parts of the album. The pictures and notes are provided since I am not a record grader, but I want you to have information to make an informed decision about your bid. The record is untested. Here are the Observational Notes: The album cover has bright color and shine. It is all intact, no rips or tears (or even typical shelf wear is almost non existent.) The inner sleeve is original, but does have what I call record tear, where the record has gone through part of the sleeve when it was put away. (I always took the sleeve out to put the record away, so it wouldn’t damage the cover.) The record looks completely clean with no visible marks. There are pictures of the record from a couple of angles so the light hits the record differently to give you different views. The poster has been in the cover for the past 35 years and never hung up or displayed.
I take great care in shipping records. I use boxes designed for shipping records. I take the album out of the inner sleeve and place it in a different one I provide, so the record doesn’t damage the album cover in trip with the postal service. I wrap the album and records in shipping paper and then put in plastic wrap. I then put cardboard on each side of the album to provide more stability. Then it is ready to go.
I securely pack and ship within 48 hours of payment posting to PayPal (except on weekends since the Post Office has limited hours of service). Thanks for checking my site and good luck on your bidding.
