Lp's are visually graded as VG with light surface marks on all sides. There are stickers on two of the labels. One side has a mark I can feel so I tested it twice. Once with a modern Victrola player and the second time with a vintage Pioneer. It play through the spot with no problems. We use the Goldmine grading scale which follows:
VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise.
I truly think the few songs I heard appear closer to VG+ but visually it stands at VG.
New inner sleeved included after cleaning.
Gatefold outer sleeve is a strong VG+ with surface, corner, and edge wear but still visually pleasing.
