Grading Vinyl and Covers are all conservatively graded using Goldmine Standard Grading. If in doubt of of grade I automatically drop it a grade. Most of my records are VG+ or better. I personally rarely use "Near Mint" or "Mint" unless it is new/unopened. Excellent (EX) will be the highest grade for any open record. EX to me is an almost flawless opened record.
