You are bidding on Disney's Stories of Uncle Remus vinyl record & book on Disneyland Records from 1957.  This is a 12” vinyl record with as they state on the front cover “and a picture book.”  It is the 8 pages of some of the stories and pictures from the Disney movie Song of the South.  That is (was) the theme to the ride Splash Mountain in Disney World.  (It is being re-themed).  I have posted pictures of the album cover (front and back) the inside gatefold of the album, a couple of pages from the book, and the record itself.  I am not a record grader, so I don’t give a grade, but what I do is give you the 12 pictures and the following Observational Notes on the condition of the album and record so you can make an informed decision about your bid: Album cover:  The pictures tell the story, but here is the narrative;  there is wear on the front cover picture, there is a split on the top of the cover where the record has gone in and out, some shelf wear or record pressure wear on the bottom, on the back you can see the record ring (not uncommon on white covers), inside the gatefold it is clean and intact with all the pages to the book attached and in place. Inner sleeve:  Not the original sleeve.  This is a new one as when I received this album it did not have one. Record:  It has scratches on both sides, as well smudges.  I understand it is difficult to see these on the pictures even though I tried to get the light to hit the record at a different angle, that’s why I have 2 pictures for each side of the album.   Please let me know if you have any questions, as I want you to have all the needed information to make an informed decision.
