Homework is the studio debut album by the french electronic music duo Daft Punk. Released in 1997, after working on projects that were intended to be separate singles over five months, the duo produced the tracks without plans to release an album. 

With singles like "Da Funk" & "Around the World", Homework's success brought worldwide attention to house music and global dance scenes; establishing the duos futuristic sound that would serve as inspiration to many for years to come.

2. Daft punk- Human after all (2lp)

Human After All is Daft Punk’s third studio album released in 2005 following on from the success of their previous efforts, Daft punk would do the opposite of what they did in the production of Discovery & Homework. By recording the album over a significantly shorter amount of time, with a minimal set up of only two guitarists, two drum machines, a vocoder and one eight-track machine, Human after all resulted in being a polarizing body of work.

Bangalter & Guy cited George Orwell’s 1984 as inspiration stating the album was the opposite of the feel good, Homework & Discovery; focusing on “extremely tormented and sad, terrifying looks at technology, yet there can be some beauty and emoting from it.”

The album spawned four singles, including "Robot Rock" and "Technologic"; the latter of which was famously used on an apple advert for iTunes & the iPod.
