PLEASE LOOK VERY CLOSELY AT ALL OF THE SUPPLIED PHOTOGRAPHS AS THEY FORM A LARGE PART OF THE SALES DESCRIPTION.
THE RECORD HAS BEEN MACHINE CLEANED IN A TWO-PART PROCESS. L'ART DU SON IS USED FOR THE CLEANING STAGE AND DEMINERALISED DISTILLED WATER FOR THE RINSING STAGE. THE PRODUCTS USED ARE THE MOST SUPERIOR IN THEIR CLASS.
OK, HERE GOES WORLD WIDE LED ZEPPELIN RARE RECORD COLLECTORS. HERE IS A MEGA RARE 35TH RAREST LED ZEPPELIN RECORD ON THE PLANET ACCORDING TO LED ZEPPELIN HISTORIANS. ITS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME THAT YOU HAVE AS MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE RARITY OF THIS RECORD AND WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION.
IT HAS THE AUSTRALIA ONLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER WITH THE ONE OF A KIND GREEN INNER SLEEVE PHOTO AND SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT COLOUR TREATMENT OF THE NAME ''LED ZEPPELIN'' ON THE FRONT COVER WHICH WAS ONLY RELEASED IN AUSTRALIA DURING 1969/70. THE FRONT COVER HAS THE WORD ''STEREO'' ON THE TOP LEFT. THE MONOAURAL / STEREO CATALOGUE NUMBERS AL-33615/SAL-933615 ARE ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE REAR COVER AND ON THE SPINE. THE SECONDARY CATALOGUE NUMBER SD-8236 IS ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE INSIDE GATEFOLD COVER. LED ZEPPELIN IS MISSPELT ''LED ZEPELLIN'' ON THE SIDE 'A' AND SIDE 'B' LABELS. IT HAS THE DIFFERENT DOUBLE RING STAMPINGS PASSING THROUGH THE ATLANTIC RECORD LABELS. LATER PRESSINGS DIDN'T HAVE THE DOUBLE RING INDENTATIONS ON THE LABELS AND WERE PRESSED BY RCA AND NOT BY FESTIVAL RECORDS. THE MATRIX INFORMATION ON BOTH SIDES OF THE DEADWAX DIFFERS FROM ANY OTHER PRESSING PHOTOGRAPHS OR DESCRIPTIONS I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND. THIS PRESSING COULD BE THE ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND EVER OFFERED FOR SALE WORLDWIDE? SIDE 1 MATRIX INFORMATION IS OB33185 (33186 SCRATCHED OUT) 33187 - STA691671-N-W-LW-AT-R7? SIDE 2 MATRIX INFORMATION IS W SMX33186-33188-ST-A-691672-S-AB-A1A-AT-LW? SOME OF THE HANDWRITTEN MATRIX INFORMATION IS HARD TO DECIPHER SO I HAVE DONE THE BEST I CAN TO WORK OUT WHAT THE LETTER OR NUMBER MIGHT BE. LW IN THE DEADWAX DENOTES THAT THE METAL WORK WAS SUPPLIED BY '' LONG WEAR '' PLATING COMPANY OF NEW YORK U.S.A. THE VINYL STILL HAS A NICE DEEP, DARK, MIRROR FINISH (SEE PHOTOS). THE LAMINATED COVER IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND WOULD PASS ANY SERIOUS COLLECTORS SCRUTINY IN MY OPINION. THE VINYL HAS A LOT OF FINE HAIRLINES, PAPER SCUFFS AND A FEW SURFACE MARKS WIDER THAN HAIRLINES THAT DONT AFFECT THE SOUND AT ALL. I HAVE PLAYED THE RECORD RIGHT THROUGH ON MY ''REGA'' TURNTABLE AND IT PLAYS AND SOUNDS FANTASTIC WITH NO SKIPS OR JUMPS. THE DYNAMICS OF THESE EARLY GREEN/SILVER 1ST AUSTRALIAN PRESSINGS ARE REALLY SOMETHING TO BEHOLD. IT DOES HAVE A LITTLE CRACKLE HERE AND THERE WHICH IS PAR FOR THE COURSE WITH VINTAGE VINYL. OVERALL IT IS AN EXCELLENT SOUNDING COPY DUE TO IT BEING PUT THROUGH A VERY RIGIROUS CLEANING PROCESS.
I HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS RECORD COLLECTOR AND AUDIOPHILE FOR 45 YEARS.I AM EXTREMELY PASSIONATE ABOUT SELLING THE BEST SOUNDING RECORDS POSSIBLE.
YOUR RECORD WILL BE POSTED TO YOU IN A HEAVY DUTY PURPOSE BUILT RECORD MAILER WITH BUBBLE WRAP EITHER SIDE OF THE LP FOR GUARANTEED PROTECTION DURING TRANSIT. IT WILL ALSO BE HOUSED IN A NEW PLASTIC COVER WITH A NEW ANTI-STATIC RECORD SLEEVE.
PLEASE NOTE THE SELLER WILL ONLY SEND THIS RECORD FULLY INSURED AND WITH A SIGNATURE NEEDED ON DELIVERY AND WITH FULL TRACKING AT MY COST WITHIN AUSTRALIA. OVERSEAS BUYERS WILL HAVE TO PAY THE POSTAGE COST SHOWN. I WILL NOT DECLARE A LOWER VALUE ON THE PAPERWORK FOR OVERSEAS BUYERS. HONESTY I BELIEVE IS THE BEST POLICY.
PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK AND BUY WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE.
