Released 50 years ago today.....The Rolling Stones' 'Sticky Fingers' is rightly considered one of the greatest rock albums of all time. From the brilliant cover art to the superb and memorable songs....this album had it all. It is easily one of the group's top 3 best studio albums....and worldwide sales (triple platinum certification) confirm this fact.
On offer is the MFSL half-speed mastered pressing (1-060) released in June of 1981. Having listened to dozens of versions, this is the one that sounds most balanced, focused, detailed, and clean. If you're properly set up with decent speakers, amp, and turntable.... you WILL notice the difference. A very memorable audiophile experience.
Cover: Near Mint.....very nice condition and made with fairly thick card stock. Just showing minimal signs of rubbing and wear to a few areas.
Record: Near Mint (minus) ..... both sides gleam and shine like new.....labels look bright and clean and show a few spindle marks when viewed at an angle under heavy lights. Only the song "Dead Flowers" (Side 2/Track 4) plays with some ticks ...so the "minus" is for that one. Superb, detailed, and blistering audio from start to finish.
