This one is the 1st stereo pressing in Japan of LEE MORGAN ALL-STAR SEXTET by King Record in 1978, GXF-3023. An un-issued version of Blue Note catalog originally recorded on July 14, 1967 by Rudy Van Gelder. The tape had been neglected and sit still in the Blue Note vault for a long time. It was found 10 years later by Michael Cuscuna who was the producer of this album in Japan.
One of the best albums of Lee Morgan with first class jazz musicians at that time.
The vinyl looks bright and glossy. I've played test this record on my system and it plays NM on both sides.
The cover and OBI are both rated NM. Cover is strong and no split. The spine is intact.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
