Bread's self-titled debut album was released in the fall of 1969 in the U.S. by Elektra Records.  In Japan it was released ( SWG-7575) a couple of years later on Elektra's subsidiary label (Victor Company of Japan) and is considered the definitive pressing of this wonderful debut album.  In Japan it was titled, 'Dismal Day', which was a single in the U.S.  One of the striking details of this 'White Label Promo' (aside from the sensational audio) is the fact that it was pressed on translucent [virgin vinyl]. When the record is raised to a strong light source, one can see right through.  An extremely rare pressing....especially in this condition.

Cover: Excellent....solidly constructed with heavy boards....some age discoloration can be seen but mostly to the spine.

4-page lyric insert (with DJ suggestion pointer): Near Mint(-) .....incredible condition with normal age discoloration to the paper.

Promo Insert: Near Mint

Record: Near Mint.....absolutely incredible.....this white label promo heavyweight vinyl is nearly flawless....both sides gleam like new.  The clear, bold, and detailed audio from this record will knock you out.  Hands down, the best pressing of this album you will ever hear....a real gem and a MUST for fans of this great band.
