PRICE
Postage is of course not free but included in the price.  Postage discount can be made by using the multibuy feature.  A trip to the shop is highly recommended to view the thousands of discs not yet listed.  Please phone or email to make an appointment.  We don't open 9 to 5 but at our and your convenience.  We've made as many midnight sales as 9am sales.

RECORDS and REQUESTS
We have a database of over 2,000 records which will be listed gradually.  Bookmark us or keep calling in from time to time for additions to this section of the shop.  We would prefer not to be contacted with a query regarding a record that you are searching for.  Invariably we will either have it buried somewhere, have sold it yesterday, or not got it.  Searching and replying would simply use time that could be spent listing : )

COURTESIES
Equally we do not contact you to thank you for your order or to inform you of due postage date.  We post once a week and we are extremely grateful for your order.  Sincerely, thank you.

FOREIGN CUSTOMERS
We prefer eBay to handle offshore sales as they handle the VAT issues with some weight behind them.  However, should eBay postage be prohibitive please do contact us.  We have previously been able to reduce eBay postage costs considerably and had no returns at customs, however we cannot guarantee no returns.  We will work with you but can not work with customs with the same might as eBay and may have to accept a return and refund you in full, including postage cost, should the item get stuck at customs.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
All effort is made to ensure accurate grading.  Should on receipt of the record you disagree with our grading, or indeed notice a blemish that slipped the lister's eye, then we issue a full no quibble refund including all postage costs.  Should you decide that you simply do not want the record and agree with the grading we would appreciate that you paid postage and accept a refund of cost of record only.

GRADING
Grading is visual only.  We play grade snippets of records valued at over £50 prior to postage.  Play grading is ineffective as your set up is different to mine and what sounds good on my system may not on yours and vice versa.
We grade sleeve first/disc/disc 2 if double set, and then gimmicks/extras (booklets etc).  Grading is as a composite whole with detailed description in listings below.  We do not use the outdated goldmine nor RC grading guide - these guides were written long before records needed such close scrutiny in grading.

Our initial grading is as follows

Near Mint (nm) Absolutely as new.  Looks untouched.
Near Mint Minus (nm-) Maybe one slight spindle marking, maybe just a hint of evidence of thumbprint on the label, or almost invisible marking in most light/angle.
Excellent Plus (ex+) Evidence of light spindle marking or similar, almost invisible markings in most light/angle.
Excellent (ex) A strong sharp disc and label, with no wear to spindle hole.  Light hair mark only.
Excellent Minus (ex-) As above but maybe hairline marking easier to detect.
Very Good Plus (vg+) A good strong presentation though evidently used and with light inner removal scarring only.
Very Good (vg) More prominent evidence of use with obvious scarring that will not affect playback other than usual firecrackle in quiet parts.
Very Good Minus (vg-) Poor presentation with a good playback other than expected firecrackle in quiet parts.
Good Plus (g+) Heavily scarred and tatty - will play through with more prominent firecrackle.
Good (g) Will have deep scratches that will affect a stylus adversely*, and will skip or stick in parts.

(*I advise three styli...one for the nm/ex/vg+, one for the vg/vg-, and one for the g+/g)

Vinyl by its nature will have pop and crackle to some extent.  You can hear the sound of a needle in the groove.  Pop and crackle is gradient throughout the gradings.  None of these discs will play like a cd.

Paranoid - 1976 reissue vg/vg+
More a nm- except for writing on label.  Kerry Hughes.  Sleeve has ringwear, creasing, dinting, markings.  Disc is sharp.
Master of Reality - This is the 1976 WWA reissue in very fine condition.  vg/ex Sleeve has some evidence of handling and storage.  Disc has minor marking on last track side 2.  Minor evidence of handling to label.
I do not know if this is original generic record company inner or a replacement.  Inner has evidence of storage in damp conditions.  Could well be a replaced inner.

Two copies available of this 1976 nems reissue with no poster
One copy has ancient dealer price sticker of £2.99 which can be removed on request.  Personally I like these details and would leave it.  Your call. vg/ex
Also available in vg/ex-

Black Sabbath Vol 4 - We also have a Korean (generic term for unknown Eastern) counterfeit available to the completist collector at £75.  Please ask for pics if interested.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - 1973 First Press with inner.  vg/ex+/vg
Sleeve has dealer notes on as above.  Can be removed on request. Inner has slight drilling at low edge
Sabotage - 1975 First Press vg-/ex-
Sterling matrix and Robert Stace textured sleeve.  One hairline mark to an otherwise nm- disc.  Investors note - this has been housed in a polylined inner which could be the original inner, in which case it has been there since 1975, or it could be a later replacement.  I have never had an issue with polylined inners in over 40 years of collecting and dealing but I know some of you don't like these things.

Technical Ecstacy - 1976 First Press with inner.  ex-/nm-/ex
My last copy of this first press with inner and it's in astonishing condition.  Again, investors please note - housed in polylined inner, I recall this being issued in a polylined inner and so could well be that the record has been against this stuff for over 40 years.  Since then I have protected the sleeve with PVC sleeve for the last five years at least.  If you are sensitive about this stuff please just leave this one alone.  I have never had an issue with it.  The disc is sharp with no whitening.  Not play tested however.  I can on request.

Never Say Die - 1978 first press with inner.  ex+/nm/ex+
As above I have protected the sleeve of this one with PVC.  Investors may want to steer clear.  If you are buying this because you want a perfect copy of Never Say Die, I can't see you finding a better one than this.

Heaven and Hell - Original 1980 First Press vg/nm
