This is an excellent item from a collector who has taken very good care of his records. 
Where the record is described as Excellent I am confident that it has no damage and probably has been played just once, recorded on tape and put away.
The description Very Good will again confirm that there is no damage and the record will play correctly and without interruption but there may be some marks on the surface like finger prints or some insignificant blemish.
The description Good may imply that there could be a light scratch or blemish which may be audible although it has not been tested. Knowing the source, it is likely that there will be no issue at all.
For the outer cover or sleeve, Excellent means that there is only very light wear at the edges or some fading of light coloured areas with age only and the overall appearance is like new. There may be very minimal indications of the circle shape of the disc inside showing on some thinner card.
A Very Good outer cover or sleeve is one that still looks great but has slightly more signs of age here and there, with may a minor crease or scuff mark or small surface tear from a price label.
A Good outer cover or sleeve will be complete and showing signs of age generally. Perhaps some edges have become unglued or lighter areas have become more significantly faded or affected by dust.
