Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

This is a Jacksonville Pressing of a Reprise Records original 1977 release. It is a 3-LP Set in a Tri-Fold cover with a slide-out insert. The records have never been played. Includes liner notes by Neil Young. The cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows some cover edge wear from storage. This is a one-owner that the Seller got new at Tower Records in 1977.
