Rare BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN 1973 Play Back VINYL 33 1/3rpm 7" CIRCUS SONG Live.
A series of 7" discs were issued as a promotional vehicle for the Columbia and Epic (CBS) record lables in the early 70's. For a $3.00 subscription, fans could get regular mailings of 7" records, information on the artists featured and a feedback form. The tracks on Play Back discs were generally newly released and not otherwise available on 7" at the time. They are rare to find now.
Side 1- Smokey Factory Blues by Albert Hammond (Albert Hammond Jr.'s father) and Circus Song by Bruce Springsteen (Recorded Live at the Ahmanson Theatre).
Side 2- Down at the Bar by Loudon Wainwright and Little Red Hen Blues by Taj Mahal.
The disc is 7'' and plays at 33 1/3rpm.
