HOUR GLASS - POWER OF LOVE (LIBERTY LST-7555) (1968) (VG++/VG+)

·      BAND: US Pop-Psych-blues Band circa 67/69 featuring Greg & Duane Allman and were based in Los Angeles, CA at this point in their Career.

·      TOTAL OUTPUT: Two LP’s and five singles between 1967/69.  This was their 2nd LP and has a completely different pop sound as compared with their later recordings.

·      PRESSING: First US Pressing, 1968

·      LABEL: Liberty (Rainbow Logo, Black with silver lettering) (LST-7555) This is a slightly rarer pressing with the Font being a bit different than the Research Craft pressing.

·      MATRIX RUNOUT NUMBERS (Etched):  A: (LST-7555-1 ☆ VAL AudioMatrix) B: (LST-7555-2 V ☆ AudioMatrix)

·      CONDITION: FRONT COVER: VG+ (Minor ring-wear. Top seam has minor wear, with a ¼ inch split in the right corner.  Bottom seam has minor wear and no splits. Spine has moderate wear with no impact to the lettering.  Front cover has small tear in bottom right corner.

·      CONDITION: BACK COVER: VG++ (Less visible ring wear and no tears.)

·      CONDITION: DUST JACKET SLEEVE: VG (Features artists on Liberty circa 1968 and has splits in all three sides.)

·      CONDITION: VINYL: Plays with minimal surface noise on quiet passages and has overall audio grade of VG++.

NOTE: My LP’s are visually graded with the exception of two sound samples from the first songs on each side which can be heard with the links provided below.

GRADING SCALE:

NM/M: Played once or twice. No visible surface or playback wear.

EX: Has been played but has no scratches, minimal to no wear and plays without surface noise.

EX- Plays without surface noise, but might have a few visible minor scratches.

VG++: May have a few surface scratches or a little wear, but plays nicely with only minimal surface noise and clicks.

VG+: "Typical used record".  A little wear, a few minor (light) scratches, but plays well. Surface noise may be more present during soft passages. No Skips

VG: More wear and significant surface noise. Deeper scratches. May have a skip.

G: Significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. (Beat up record!) May have skips.

(All LP’s are visually-graded with sound samples being provided for the first song on each side.)

LP’s ship via USPS Priority Mail Cubic (domestic) or USPS First Class International. Professional cardboard 45 mailers will be used with proper bubble packing.
