Vinyl: EX+ Play Graded. Sounds Excellent! Capitol Labels and Bright. The labels are without subsidiary print. This is the 1966 Capitol 5651 Original 1ST PRESSING! Issued May 30, 1966. A Classic Double A-side. Very exciting to turn up The Beatles in Mono! Also, this being the Rare Mono Mix, you get to hear some rare nuances on Paperback Writer that you don't hear on the LP's (e.g. The Beatles Again nor 1962-1966,etc). Listen especially to the last part of the last verse of "Paperback Writer", where the mix reveals a different use of echo than the one you may be used to hearing...very cool! The Beatles themselves preferred their Mono mixes. BEATLEMANIA!!
In the Dead Wax: matrices on both sides, stamped. Both sides have "IAM" for International Association of Machinists, indicating that they were pressed at Capitol's Scranton, PA Pressing Plant. Complete Dead wax details cheerfully given upon request.
SLEEVE: VG++ (see photos; no seam splits, no stickers; some ring wear, some creases and some tiny micro-tears along the top edge) Original 1ST PRESSING EAST COAST PICTURE SLEEVE.
Goldmine Standards. I play grade every record that I sell on eBay as I have found you can't rate a record accurately by just visually inspecting it. I wipe the dust off of every cover with clean, unscented baby wipes. I professionally clean the vinyl. (I also operate a Vinyl Record Cleaning business for your dusty/dirty records--if interested, send me a message).

First or early pressings nearly always have more immediacy, presence and dynamics. The sound staging is wider. Subtle instrument nuances are better placed with more spacious textures. Balances are firmer in the bottom end with a far-tighter bass. Upper-mid ranges shine without harshness, and the overall depth is more immersive. Inner details are clearer.
On first and early pressings, the music tends to sound more ‘alive’ and vibrant. The physics of sound energy is hard to clarify and write about from a listening perspective, but the best we can describe it is to say that you can 'hear' what the mixing and mastering engineers wanted you to hear when they first recorded the music.
