This is the great-sounding, highly collectible Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab edition--remastered from the original tapes--of the Rolling Stones albumĀ Sticky Fingers. The album was originally released in 1971 and reissued by Mobile Fidelity in 1981. The most important thing about this copy of the album is that the vinyl is in beautiful near-mint condition. The cover is also in very good condition overall, but in addition to a little wear on the top and bottom edges, and some small dings and a little bubbling of the paper on the back, there is about a one-inch-long cutout mark through the top edge. (It's hard to imagine a Mobile Fidelity release making its way to the old "cutout bin" in a record store.) I didn't want to exaggerate the cover quality by calling it excellent, but it's still a very solid cover that is far from falling apart or anything like that. Though not technically an import album, since MFSL is an American company, the vinyl was in fact pressed in Japan, as noted on both the cover and the record labels.
