Up for sale this vintage 70's and 80's Jose Jose Vinyl Cassette Lot Bundle: 1970 EL TRISTE & 1983 SECRETOS Studio Albums. The vinyl of El Triste is in very good condition, and the vinyl of Secretos does have slight scratches from use, but nothing that affects its functionality if you have a good turntable, is worth mentioning, that this one "Secretos" doesn't has inlay and the cover is deteriorated over time. On the other hand, "El Triste" being a studio album (the 2nd of his artistic career and the one that made him known in other countries) older than "Secretos", it is better preserved, because it even still has its outer protective plastic and it has an inner protective plastic for the vinyl, as can be seen in the images. The lot includes as an extra gift, some cassettes without cover, but working well too: Secretos and "20 Triunfadoras" by Jose Jose. You can't miss them! El Triste is the title of the second studio album released by Mexican singer José José in 1970. Like its predecessor, this album projected him to internationalization, due to his performance in the "II Festival de la Canción Latina" ("Latin Song Festival II", predecessor of the OTI Festival) held on March 25, 1970, representing Mexico with the songs "El Triste" by Roberto Cantoral and "Dos" by Welo Rivas, obtaining the third place (according to the jury), in front of an audience that filled the Teatro Ferrocarrilero of Mexico City, who admired his extraordinary performance (claiming he deserved first place). Despite this, "El Triste" was consolidated as an international hit, allowing him to start to tour throughout the United States and Latin America. Its main hits besides "El Triste" and "Dos" are "Alguien Vendrá", "Mi Niña" and "Esa Canción de Ayer". Its genre is mainly Latin pop with a jazz trend, that can be heard in the arrangements of songs such as "La Noche De Los Dos", "Amoras" or "A Partir De Hoy". Secretos is the 19th studio album recorded by Mexican performer José José, it was released by RCA Ariola in 1983, it was written, produced and arranged by Manuel Alejandro. Secretos became the first collaboration of José José with Manuel Alejandro in a complete album, and became the MOST POPULAR of José José's CAREER. The album gave him international recognition, selling 4 million copies as of 2003. Secretos received 22 PLATINUM and GOLD certifications WORLWIDE. Secretos was nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Latin Pop Performance in the 27th Annual Grammy Awards in 1985, losing to Always in My Heart (Siempre en mi Corazón) by Plácido Domingo. Secretos is the most successful studio album of his entire career and all the songs it contains are a resounding success. They will be shipped fast and very well packaged to protect them with FedEx Home Delivery/Ground or USPS Priority Mail Service.
