Original & complete 1st UK press of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973. Solid blue 1st press labels. 1st press sleeve with 1st version 68mm large round purple title sticker on the front. The set is still complete with all inserts - both posters, both postcard stickers and the original black poly-lined inner sleeve. The two postcard stickers are 1st version ‘crackback’ issues and the black die-cut inner has 2 patent numbers and “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN” printed on as-per 1st press sets. All parts are original.

Condition:

Beautiful condition. Vinyl is Ex + NEAR MINT! Super-glossy, clean with very light Sign of Play either side. The long quiet intro to track A1 is nice and clear, a great start to a big, punchy 1st press sound when played on my Clearaudio turntable. A slight drop-out in the title 'Money', which occurs due to the pressing error of the matrix number a2 b2, can be heard. The 1st sleeve with large purple sticker is also in top condition, nice and sharp with no wear to the edges or spine and no ring wear front or back. Both posters have no tears, folds, tape marks or pin holes NEAR MINT! Both postcard stickers are unused NEAR MINT! The black poly-lined inner has no splits and the lining is fully intact Ex + A wonderful Set
