The Gits "Evil Stig" Bob (Cousin O.)/ Spear/ Magic Helmet. New. Unplayed. Joan Jett lead vocalist. This is a important recording for a very important cause with a LOT of important history that comes with it. Way too much to list here but here's a little bit of it and a Wikipedia link. Mia Zapte was the lead singer of The Gits who was raped and murdered after leaving a performance in 1993. Seattle artists rallied to her and did a lot. Including raising money to find her murderer, who was Jesus Mezquia. Starting organizations in her name and a lot more. Joan Jett recorded an album with The Gits surviving members.
Mia was though of as a strong feminist and supportive of the new feminist movement.
From Wikipedia "... It has been speculated that this association may be due to her presence as a "charismatic female musician" in the Northwest, who was performing throughout the emergence of the riot grrrl movement."
