(M)  Mint - Perfect. Never played, possibly even still sealed 
(M-) Near mint - A nearly perfect record. More than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly. The record should show no sign of wear  
(VG+) Very good plus - Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect listening experience        
(VG) Very good -Signs of wear and light scratches, surface noise will be evident, especially in soft passages, but will not overpower the music otherwise
(G+/G)- Good plus/good -  Can be played through without skipping but it will have significant surface noise, scratches     
(P) - Poor - The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating
