LYNYRD SKYNYRD "Street Survivors" LP Record Original Flame Cover Recallef
MCA 3029
Street Survivors,” the band's last album with Ronnie Van Zant
The image of Lynyrd Skynyrd surrounded by flames wasn't controversial at first. Sadly, three days after the album was released, band members Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, as well as several crew members died in a tragic plane crash while en route to Baton Rouge. An alternate photo of the band against a black backdrop replaced the sadly ironic image for many years.
In good condition. I am the ORIGINAL owner. I bought this record the day after the plane crash, on Oct. 21st, 1977, at my local record store here in Jacksonville, FL., where the band was from. I was 12 years old. Please see pictures for condition. The album has some wear, edge wear, etc., (see pic's) but overall good for age and wear. The vinyl record has been played, but you hear no scratches when you play it. The 2 original inserts I took out when I bought the record and used them to order items. The original MCA paper sleeve is on the record (has a small tear).
