ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN 1st Original Releases of ‘OCEAN RAIN’ and. ‘PORCUPINE’. Reissue of ‘CROCODILES’ . All Vinyl in NEARMINT All have been PLAYTESTED

SOUND QUALITY. All Three get an EXCELLENT rating, all clear and crisp, no jumps skips pops, played on my middle of the road 1980s Pioneer deck with a Good needle

VISUALLY the Vinyl of all get a NEARMINT rating, no marks, still a nice glossy sheen, looking little- if at all played, no visible spindle hole wear

LABELS These all get a NEARMINT still clear and crisp printing

COVERS - Crocodiles and Porcupine get a VERY GOOD ++ Verging on EXCELLENT with only the lightest signs of handling and Minimal very light edge/corner wear. Ocean Rain gets a VERY GOOD + it is in the same condition as the other two except for a slight finger end crease on the front bottom right corner

INNER SLEEVES= Ocean Rain gets an EXCELLENT, Crocodiles gets a VERY GOOD + as it has slight creasing and faint record impression, Porcupine gets a GOOD as it’s a plain white paper sleeve with age related discolouration

CROCODILES as the Side 1 Label- Printed. K58175 KODE 1, matrix runout stamping of R/S Alsdorf 58175 A4XX No Barcode on rear of cover - so believe Nov 1982 Reissue Europe (1st Release 18th July 1980) Reissue Europe

OCEAN RAIN. IS. A 1st, PRESSING RELEASE = has the Side 1 Label- Printed KODE 8, (240 388-1) Side 2 matrix runout stamping of R/S Alsdorf 240388-1 B2XX Glossy Cover without barcode on rear cover , Orchestra picture on Matt Purple/Blue inner sleeve with Credits so believe 4th May 1984 UK/Europe Release

PORCUPINE is a 1st PRESSING RELEASE has only KODE6 only printed on Labels, Cover does not have Barcode on rear so believe 4th Feb 1983 release made in Germany for UK,…however matrix runout stamping is R/S Alsdorf 240027-1 A2XX denoting First release Germany for Europe ( so the label was possibly put on the wrong Vinyl or vice versa) either way still a First Release! All pressed in Germany.
