The Smiths' "William, It Was Really Nothing" on 12" splatter vinyl from Germany, 1984
I had just posted an auction with colored vinyl and I actually wrote there how easy it was to photograph it (as opposed to black vinyl).  Then I pulled this out.  I've taken dozens of photos of this, and each time the light plays on the vinyl so that it appears it is somehow flawed.  Trust me, it is not flawed, both the sleeve and the vinyl are in at least excellent condition.  And the splatter pattern: it's a thing of beauty.  You need this.  It's actually kind of painful letting this one go.  If you win it, could I at least come and visit it occasionally?  No???  Oh, damn.
