DAVID BOWIE, Hunky Dory, 1971 RCA UK LP.

SF 8244, early 1971 issue UK Orange RCA stereo record labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. early UK 1971 Orange RCA record labels,

2. the front sleeve picture features more vivid / vibrant colours,

CONDITION:

THE OUTER COVER: is in excellent condition, the spine is in 'very good++' condition and has remained clean and straight and all of the text on the spine is readable. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. There are NO tears on the sleeve. On the rear there is some red and blue pen writing.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original UK plain white inner sleeve. There is some creasing to the front top, right corner. Theres NO tears, splits, pen writing on the inner sleeve.

THE INSERT – the lyric sheet / insert, is not present.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in excellent++ condition. The record is made of the period early 1970s quality 'thick heavy' vinyl. The condition of each of the playing surfaces have remained very dark and glossy.

The records ‘hand etched’ matrix is: APRS 5947 4E and APRS 5948 3E, other numbers and letters ‘hand etched’ onto the ‘run off’ grooves are, side one, ‘A2 T’ and side two, ‘A4 AAA’.

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent++. On side two, I did hear some ‘ticks’ for a short time at the very end of track three. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with an excellent full, loud powerful ‘stereo’ sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in near MINT condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

UPDATE - recent Cyber attack to the UKs Royal Mail postal service, 11th February 2023 - due to the recent Cyber attack to the UKs Royal Mail postal service, overseas / international packages are being delayed.

I have found alternative couriers that can offer postage overseas, these postage costs are slightly higher than the Royal Mail, please contact me for these postage costs.

Alternatively overseas buyers can pay the lower Royal Mail postage cost but there will be a delay in posting until the Royal Mail has resolved the problem.

The UK postage has NOT been affected.

Postage and packing.

All records posted to a UK address will be sent 1st class and to be signed for on delivery.

Packing - all records are posted with multi layered card stiffeners for protection. Before posting, the record is removed from the records original inner and outer sleeves, the record is then put into a second inner sleeve to minimise any damage that may occur while in transit.

The record / sleeves are then put into a plastic sleeve for further protection.

Discount will be given on postage for multiple purchases.

In the UK – there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post, therefore post and packing charges may vary.

I will send records anywhere overseas.

All records that are posted overseas will be sent ‘signed for on delivery’ and there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post, therefore post and packing charges may vary.

In non EU country’s an ‘import tax’ and a couriers ‘clearance fee’ may need to be paid, this is down to the buyer to pay these fees.
