"The Essential Doc Watson" two-record stereo LP album, a 1986 re-issue of the original 1973 release. Vanguard VSD 45/46, from the "Vanguard Twofers" series.

> Solid yellow LP labels
> 26 total tracks -- 12 on record one (VSD 45), which are studio recordings from Watson's early Vanguard releases, and 14 on record two (VSD 46), recorded live at the Newport Folk Festival in 1964 and 1965
> Copyright 1973 and 1986 by Vanguard Records (as shown on sleeve and labels)
Runout markings (written except as noted):
> Side A: VSD-45-A
> Side B: VSD-45-B (opposite is a scribble that looks like "EMW")
> Side C: VSD-46 4-10 (stamped, not written)
> Side D: VSD-46B VMS 73121B-1A
Records are in excellent condition with no visible scratches or scuffs; there is dust to be cleaned off. Cover has edge wear including a nick at back lower edge, but no record rings.
